Why? (let's keep it civil, peeps)

I'm a cat person. I love how cats are independent - you can put out a bag of cat food, leave a bowl under a dripping faucet and have a couple of litter boxes and leave for the weekend. Plus they don't smell, drool, or leave piles of crap in the yard.
