Yep, that kinda sucked. I saw that MBV were playing the same night a couple of months after I bought my Spoon tickets. I shoulda just sold my Spoon tickets and went to see MBV, since they only played 4 shows in the USA and Austin was one of them. Oh well!
and yes, i'm purposely trying to make you feel worse because i missed the Sigur Rós show at the hurricane festival last year and felt bad for a month. my friend passed out while i (and i say i because she didn’t care) was waiting so eagerly for so long to see them. but there you have it, story of my life.
Well, at least Sigur Ros will likely play again. Who knows if or when MBV will ever play again?
Anyway, I was so happy to see Snow Patrol play a couple of weeks back. If you remember, the first time you told me about them (must be about 3 years ago) they were coincidentally playing in Austin that very night, but had been sold out for months. Anyway, they're coming through again a few months, so will be seeing them again then too.
