Though many may not agree (shame on them) with his title as the King of Pop, no one can deny this man’s legendary talent and success and influence on music as a whole. Who doesn’t like at the very least one of his hits off of Thriller (which is his best album by far through album sales, popularity and talent-wise and everyone who doesn’t agree is poop)? If you’re one of those people who don’t like MJ, and think he’s a boy rapist and hate his pale complexion all due to excessive jealousy, you can just leave right now because there’s no room in this thread for any immature hating, I’d just like some intelligent and civilized MJ discussions plz. If you want to criticize, do it, but do it constructively and don’t be a monkey arse or I’ll have to call you monkey arse for the rest of your life.
Discuss his awesomeness, favorite albums, songs, memories triggered from a specific album/song, concerts, MJ goodies and anything else related to him even his weird eyes or sexy nose.

This is how I rank my favorite MJ albums (though I enjoy them all great amounts):
1. Thriller: Everyone on the face of this planet is required by music law to own a copy of Thriller. I’m not kidding and I’m not exaggerating. I don’t even want to imagine there’s someone (note: one, I can’t even imagine more than one) here who hasn’t heard of MJ through his best-selling album Thriller (which was not only the most popular and best-sold, but actually best talent-filled too!). 7 to ten hits on Thriller, that’s right SEVEN. Like Off The Wall, ol’ Quincy produces Thriller but this time with a lot more energy, excitement and something I just can’t put my finger on which was lacking in sufficient amounts on all his later and previous releases. There was originality, pure genius originality that earned MJ his rightful and most deserved fame. If I am to list his best tracks off the album I’d just be listing all the tracks. Every single track has something more to it, something that makes Thriller stand out and be put on repeat for days without you even realizing it. You just won’t find yourself wanting to skip over any tracks, magical, yer? There’s a mix of jazz, rock, r’n’b, and MJ pop (I classify his pop into a totally different category from regular pop, as should you all) all collaborating together to produce this very very very very (I cant stress enough how very special this album is) special album. Buy it immediately and with no further hesitation. Everyone will love this, no matter what genre you’re mostly into, you’ll find something in this that you’ll love. MENTIONABLE SONG: P.Y.T. makes me feel all tingly inside when I listen to it. ^_^
2. Off The Wall: His first real solo release, before the molestation scandal and before his excessive plastic surgeries Michael Jackson was (remained so till Dangerous. All following works are not to be spoken of) a well known and loved by all down right great r’n’b artist. Did you know MJ was only 21? Yep, only 21 and had already been in the music business for about a decade. Tracks like, ‘Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough,’ ‘Get On The Floor,’ and ‘Rock With You’ are only a couple of the hits on this album. This wasn’t MJ at his golden best (that was Thriller, for those sheltered kids), but it certainly is close to reaching the perfection that was to later follow (that was Thriller, for all you music younglings) making it a sensational dance masterpiece all on its own and a recommended addition to your music library. Did you know that four tracks off this album became top 10 hits? Do yourself a favor and buy it quick, but only after buying Thriller. ^_^
3. Bad: Five number one hits on one album? Hello? Who hasn’t heard at least one of these: ‘I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,’ ‘Man In The Mirror,’ ‘Bad,’ The Way You Make Me Feel,’ and ‘Dirty Diana’. If you haven’t heard any of them, you’re more sheltered than I previously assumed. Sure Bad wasn’t as big as Thriller (nothing was, he really sucked for that), but it’s still an amazing follow up. It came after Thriller, were we disappointed? Yes, but not because it wasn’t great but because it failed to exceed Thriller in any way. Had any one else come up with Bad, they’d have been dubbed the next best thing in music. Though I included Dangerous in my list, I do believe Bad was the last ‘well constructed and produced’ album of his time. Dangerous just kinda had to go in here for reasons I’ll mention below. Just Good Friends is one of songs Bad could have done without. No offense, but what was MJ thinking of when he teamed up with Stevie Wonder on this?

Man in the Middle slightly makes up for it, with the church choir and all, it really is a piece of art and should have been a bigger hit, same deal with Smooth Criminal which is one of my favorite MJ songs ever with his jumpy vocals .
4. Dangerous: Dangerous just didn’t prove to be all that dangerous in the end (LOL, I laffed

) ). So we’ve heard his best, his second best and his third best. We need MORE we don’t need less and in all honesty, Dangerous didn’t provide me with more. You know what’s missing? Huh? It’s big ol’ Quincy Jones, that’s what. There’s the overly popular (eeek) ‘Black and White’ on Dangerous which a lot will find appealing and may buy for it alone but for other MJ fans like me, ‘Black and White’ was just a sucky smash hit song really (WHO HATES GONE TOO SOON? EKKK, sad catastrophe, me thinks). However, ‘Remember The Time,’ ‘In The Closet,’ ‘She Drives Me Wild,’ and ‘DANGEROUS’ are what make this album worth owning for me. But this was it for my King of Pop and as far as I’m concerned, MJ only released 4 albums (those mentioned), looked like
this, turned into
this,dances like
this and has never held any babies out of any high storey windows.
